About
Welcome to your Growth Group.
A simple, flexible way for churches and small groups to study Scripture together - thoughtfully, collaboratively, and with care for the people in the room.
Our heart
Growth Group exists to develop strong relationships and a love for continual learning. Encouragement is the tone we want in every study, conversation, and note of thanks.
We serve churches and small study groups who want something straightforward - a place to build collaborative lessons that invite real engagement with Scripture, honest reflection, and a closer walk with our Creator.
We care about the groups people meet with as much as the content they work through. The aim is not another complicated platform. It is a flexible process that fits how groups already gather. Prepare, discuss, share what is helpful, and notice growth over time.
How it works
People belong to an organisation (a church or network). Within that, they join groups. Groups work through studies made of ordered sessions - the meetings or units you move through together.
- Studies gather the full journey - a topic, a book of the Bible, a published resource, or a church series, with clear expectations for what members need.
- Sessions are the pieces within a study. Each one can include reading, Scripture, pauses for reflection, and questions to answer.
- Members answer for themselves, optionally share responses with the group, and mark sessions complete so everyone can see where they are up to.
People and roles
Roles stay clear for everyday participants while giving organisations the oversight they need. The same person can hold different roles in different organisations - for example leading in one and studying as a member in another.
Members
Join their groups, work through assigned studies, answer questions, share when they want to, and track progress session by session.
Leaders
Care for a group - facilitate study, assign from the organisation's approved pool, and help the group move through the material together.
Organisation admins
Look after people and groups in their organisation, approve studies for their pool, and help ensure material is appropriate and aligned with the faith and standards of their community.
Study builders
Create draft studies for their organisation. Organisation admins can build by default; others may be given permission to build too.
That review layer matters. Collaborative lesson-building should stay flexible for people on the ground, while still protecting groups with clear approval so content fits the faith and responsibility of the community using it.
